This Flip Mount for Eotech 3x Magnifiers was created to provide operators with the ability to quickly switch between magnified and non-magnified optics while using red dot sights. The mount has been designed with a firm force-to-overcome mechanism that holds it firmly in both the ""active"" and ""stowed"" positions until the operator decides to engage it. Activating the Flip Mount is easy, requiring only a single gross motion to securely position it behind or to the side. A dovetail mount also allows you to quickly remove the magnifier if you are not going to use it and reduce the weight of your system.

The riser was designed for uses who wanted to lift the optic off the gun for use with protective masks and other equipment. It is attached to the upper receiver with set screws which require tools to install or remove, but it is very low-profile. Once in place you get a platform designed to accommodate an XPS style sight, an Eotech 3x magnifier and single slot at the rear for a backup iron sight.
